During WEF 2026 in Davos, the first‑ever New Nordic Innovation Reception brought together delegations from Estonia, Finland, and Sweden alongside international partners from business and technology. Co‑hosted by the Estonian Chamber of Commerce in Switzerland, J3D.AI, and the Estonian Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Economic Affairs, the event featured a ministerial panel and pitches from leading Nordic startups.
The programme also connected with the broader Estonian Leap activities in Davos, covering digital sovereignty, AI upskilling, entrepreneurship, and GovTech, as well as a Women in Tech Leaders Breakfast.
Collaboration with the House of Collaboration Davos, the Estonian Village by TINY SPACE, Nordic Chambers, and official country delegations helped create a strong platform for dialogue and partnership throughout the week.
The presence of ECCS Board members across multiple high‑level events underscored the Chamber’s active role in Davos. Meanwhile, the Davos ice hockey stadium carried the name of ECCS platinum member zondacrypto, which hosted the House of Switzerland.
The inaugural reception demonstrated how Nordic cooperation and innovation continue to gain momentum beyond the main WEF stage, driven by shared ambition and strong regional partnerships.
